Fusion Applicator Pads are are made of sponge foam covered with cotton, approximately 10cm x 15cm in size and come in a pack of 2.
They are especially wonderful to use with our products such as Stain and Finishing Oil, Ultra Grip, Hemp Oil and Tung Oil but can be used to apply all sorts of liquid stains, oils and even waxes. The applicator absorbs a generous amount of product to work on a large surface without having to reload. These are ideal for small or medium, flat or textured surfaces.
While they are also good for applying Tough Coat, there is now a special applicator sponge even better suited for that product.
Helpful Hints:
- Prior to using, take a piece of packing tape and tap it across the pad to defuzz it before use.
- These applicator pads are recommended for a one time use, however when using with water based products it is possible to wash them out and reuse them.
- If using the applicator pads with stain, they can be placed in a freezer bag and frozen for future use.
- When using with Ultra Grip, you may choose to lightly dampen the pad and wring out excess water, wiping in long strokes across the surface.
